On behalf of the Conference Planning Committee, we would like to invite you to the 31st Annual Conference of the Afro- American Historical and Genealogical Society. The 2010 Annual Conference will be held in Adelphi, Maryland.

The conference room rate is $129, and is good from October 3-11, 2010. Don't forget to mention that rooms are for the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society Annual Conference.

The UMCC is accessible from I-95; Metro; AMTRAK; Thurgood Marshall-Baltimore/Washington International Airport and Reagan-Washington National Airport. The I-95 exit is approximately 1.2 miles from UMCC; Metro and AMTRAK are 1.5 miles away; BWI is approximately 20 miles (with a commuter train and shuttle) and Washington National is less than 30 miles but there is a Metro stop at the airport.
