General Information

AAHGS members receive the semi-annual (Spring and Fall) Journal of the Afro-American Historical & Genealogical Society and the AAHGS News, the Bi-Monthly Newsletter of the Afro-American Historical & Genealogical Society, Inc. (Jan/Feb; Mar/Apr; May/June; July/Aug; Sept/Oct & Nov/Dec). Other benefits include reduced conference fees and access to other persons searching their history and genealogy.

The annual AAHGS membership runs from January - December of each year. Persons joining during the year, receive all back issues for that year, so you’ll miss nothing. You can also choose to pay for more than one year at a time.
