Black History Month Event: Our Stories, Our Strength

Join the City of Hyattsville for a conversation with the Prince George’s County Maryland Chapter of the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society. Presenters will provide guidance on researching and cataloguing family history and highlight the important work of the Prince George’s County Lynching Memorial Project (PGCLMP), which honors the lives and histories of those whose stories have long been overlooked. Light Refreshments will be provided.
