Building a Mixed Race Community - People, Buildings and Sites of the Winton Triangle

Please join the Friends of the Museum of the Albemarle at their annual meeting on Monday, September 21 from 5:30-7pm.
At 6pm, Marvin Tupper Jones will talk about Chowan Discovery's exhibit, "Building a Mixed Race Community - People, Buildings and Sites of the Winton Triangle." He will explain the theme, purpose and the methods of the 30 panel, 75-foot long, exhibit that covers the Winton Triangle's history and its sub-themes of family, worship, community, education, war, agriculture, business, construction, healthcare and Civil Rights. The exhibit will be on display.
