Family Reunion Ad Campaign
We invite you to celebrate African American Families with AAHGS Journal. Our Journal documents and preserves African and African American experience by publishing historical and genealogical articles about our families and communities. We also disseminate historical and genealogical resources that facilitate research on African American families and communities.
Placing an ad in this Journal presents a unique opportunity to tout the resiliency of African American life in a beautiful full-page ad featuring a photo of your family, ancestors, or organization. Ads can include commentary of up to 200 words detailing the history, achievements, journey of the people or organization featured. This one-time opportunity is open to members and non-members. Each ad costs $110. Smaller ad sizes are not available.

- Submitter’s name, mailing address, telephone number, and AAHGS affiliation (If any) must be submitted. AAHGS will send one hard copy of Journal to mailing address provided by submitter. Addresses will not be printed in the Journal.
- Submit clear and simple commentary to identify submitter and individuals or groups shown in the photo(s) including place and date of photo if known, and very brief historical facts, achievements, etc. not to exceed 200 words. All submitted photos should be high resolution renderings, scanned at least 300 ppi. Submitters needing guidance on high resolution photo scanning should contact the Journal editor at journal@aahgs.org
- All ads must be submitted and paid for in full on or before May 9, 2022 (EXTENDED).
- Material must be submitted via our online portal. Any questions should be directed to the editor at journal@AAHGS.org. Payments and submissions can be made on the AAHGS website at www.AAHGS.org.
